This is screwed up. I only decided to purchase Agony because it came with the full unrated version of the game. I would not play the censored version even if it was free. I only agreed to pay money knowing I would get the full uncensored version and now they just decide to take back part of what I paid for? The devs need to make this right, otherwise this is a case where I fully support getting the game from another source where I do not have to pay again for something I already purchased.

Not entirely accurate. Some of us (about 3800 people) 'bought' the game by backing on Kickstarter, on the promise of the unrated game. When they first launched, only the censored version was available, and so the keys that were sent out were for the censored version, with the unrated version being added later. Then, they gave the unrated version to everyone.We have also lost access to the unrated version, despite that being what (most of us) originally backed. The developer has not even bothered to inform kickstarter backers that the issue exists, or answer requests for a solution.They chose to handle the roll-out and keys this way, and now they are choosing to blame Steam and offer no sensible solution, while also choosing to ignore the people who gave them the chance to make the game in the first place. Now they are claiming that it is impossible to do anything other than offer a discount, because big bad steam says so - despite many other developers being able to offer free titles to the owners of other games without having to have them bundled.Their "it wasn't us, honest, and we can't fix it, honest, it's all Steam's fault, honest" doesn't hold up.
