Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone
Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone is a slightly rebuilt version of the first six episodes of the animated television series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The visuals receive a gorgeous graphical overhaul (adding more detail and some computer-generated imagery) and the chronology is slightly reorganized. The problem is that if you've already seen the show there's not much new here, and if you haven't seen the show I'm not really sure the story works as a stand alone film.

Ranging from cult-classics to modern day masterpieces by renowned makers such as Studio Ghibli.Evangelion is the life's work of animator Hideaki Anno and consists of three parts, but can perfectly be watched as stand alones as well. In this first one gigantic fighting robots have to save humanity from the Angels, scary creatures who attack the earth in all dimensions. But Evangelion is more than metal vs monster: deep philosophical conversations and existentialist fears are just as important and the visually impressive mecha action. 041b061a72
