[S1E10] 7:15 A.M

"7:15 A.M." is the tenth episode of the American fairy tale/drama television series Once Upon a Time. The series takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, in which the residents are actually characters from various fairy tales that were transported to the "real world" town by a powerful curse. In this episode, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Regina Mills (Lana Parrilla) become suspicious of the Stranger (Eion Bailey) and his visit to Storybrooke, while David (Josh Dallas) and Mary Margaret's (Ginnifer Goodwin) feelings for each other grow, which parallels with Prince James' (Dallas) search for Snow (Goodwin) after he falls for her.

The same day, Mary Margaret (Goodwin) rushes out the door and gives Emma an excuse that she has to make a volcano. In truth she has been going to Granny's at 7:15 every morning to see David (Dallas) getting coffee for himself and Kathryn (Griffith). Emma, who can always spot a lie, follows Mary Margaret to call out her stalking behavior and suggests she stop seeing him. Mary Margaret buys some chocolate to drown her woes and runs right into Kathryn, who is picking up a pregnancy test. Regina notices this, and warns Mary Margaret to stay away from David, and it was their personal life.

Later on in the day, Mary Margaret finds a dove in the forest trapped in some wire mesh. The town vet (Kwesi Ameyew) at the shelter where David works tells her the bird will be okay but only if she returns to her flock. David offers to help Mary Margaret return the dove but she declines. He follows her anyway and is able to save her from falling off a cliff. It starts to pour so the two take shelter in an empty cabin. David asks Mary Margaret what is wrong and she admits she still has feelings for him, and he is the reason she goes to Granny's at 7:15. David replies that he goes to Granny's to see her. They nearly kiss but Mary Margaret stops it because she knows about Kathryn's pregnancy test. David explains that his feelings for Kathryn are memories but his feelings for Mary Margaret are real. She says they have to forget each other. The next day Mary Margaret and David try to avoid seeing each other by going to Granny's at 7:45. Ultimately, they realize they cannot stay apart, and they kiss. Regina watches them from a distance.

At Emma Swan and Mary Margaret Blanchard's loft, Mary Margaret has overslept. She rushes to get to school by 7:15 A.M., to help her students with a science project. She is actually rushing to Granny's Diner, to run into David Nolan.

David enters and the two chat for a minute then he leaves. Emma then enters and asks her what is going on. Mary Margaret admits that she cannot get David out of her head and that she has been coming here every day at 7:15 A.M. to see him. She can't help it and wishes that there was a way to cure her feelings.

The two express their feelings, each revealing their reasons for going to Granny's at 7:15 A.M. Just as they are about to kiss, Mary Margaret asks how David can do this when Kathryn is pregnant. David, however, is surprised by this information. At that moment, the storm breaks, and Mary Margaret goes to release the dove, with David chasing after her. He tells her that he feels like he has two different lives: one with her and one with Kathryn. He claims that the one with Mary Margaret is the only one that feels real.

In Storybrooke, David and Kathryn discuss their relationship. Kathryn tells David that she is not pregnant and is relieved. She asks him if he is willing to go to therapy with Dr. Hopper and David agrees. He decides to skip getting coffee at the diner and instead stays and has breakfast with Kathryn. Mary Margaret is visibly depressed as she is eating breakfast and looks at the clock, it is nearing 7:15 A.M. She does not go to the diner either.

After leaving, Mary Margaret actually goes to Granny's, where she hurriedly finds a seat, checks her hair in a spoon's reflection, and pretends to be engrossed in a book as David comes in. He picks up coffees for himself and Kathryn before having a quick and somewhat awkward conversation with Mary Margaret in which she is a bit too excited to partake. As she watches David return to Kathryn in their car, Emma turns up to bust Mary Margaret on what she's really doing. Turns out David has made a routine of picking up coffee from Granny's at 7:15 A.M. every day, and Mary Margaret likes to wait there to see him, in addition to having memorized just about all of his day-to-day life. Mary Margaret admits to Emma that she wishes she could get David out of her head, and that there was a "magic cure" for love.FLASHBACK! Snow White hunts a turkey in the Enchanted Forest before being interrupted by Red Riding Hood delivering a basket of goods and news from the world, which is that Prince James is marrying Princess Abigail in two days. Snow tells Red that she tried living in isolation to escape her obsession over the prince, but it hasn't worked. When Red makes a face in response to Snow wishing for a way to stop thinking about him, Snow presses and gets Red to tell her about the sorcerer Rumpelstiltskin, who could possibly do such a thing.

As she unsuccessfully tries various escape methods, she meets another prisoner in the dungeon, a dwarf named Grumpy, who reveals that it's because of love that he's imprisoned as he was tricked into trading for a stolen diamond to propose to his lover. Conveniently, a second dwarf shows up to help, a friend of Grumpy's named Stealthy. Stealthy gets Grumpy out of the cell, and although Grumpy has no intention of helping Snow, she uses weaponized sweetness to convince him.Mary Margaret follows the sounds of the dove's flock before spotting some peculiar fallen trees. After putting down the birdcage to investigate, a thunderclap scares her into slipping and falling down the hill right into a ravine where she hangs onto a root for dear life for several seconds before David saves her, having followed her through the woods the entire time. The rain picks up as they argue about what to do next, and eventually David convinces Mary Margaret to find shelter.FLASHBACK! During the escape, a point is reached where Snow and Stealthy are conflicted about what to do next. Grumpy decides to follow Stealthy, leaving Snow to escape on her own. Naturally, the dwarves are caught by the guards and King George almost immediately and Stealthy is shot and killed. George demands to know where Snow went. Grumpy refuses to divulge anything and accepts execution, but Snow turns up just before the blade falls, threatening to burn the whole castle if they kill the dwarf. George sends Grumpy off and tells Snow that they need to talk.David and Mary Margaret find and break into an empty cabin to hide from the storm, and she confesses that she's still in love with him even after he chose Kathryn, and that she goes to Granny's at 7:15 A.M. every morning to see him even though it's painful. He then reveals that he actually goes to Granny's at 7:15 A.M. every morning to see her too. They almost kiss, but she asks him how he can do that when his wife thinks she could be pregnant. This is news to David.

But, oh, she was lying to Emma. She merely wanted to get to Granny's diner by 7:15 am, because that is when Charming comes in every day to get coffee for himself and his curse-created wife, Katherine. Snow just wants a chance to see and talk to him. 041b061a72
